Inflammatory Response in Human Oligodendroglioma and Schwann Cells

IL-1β treatment in Human Oligodendroglioma and Schwann cells increased neuroinflammatory markers and decreased myelin Basic Protein and synaptophysin levels. It also downregulated autophagy markers, but treatment with Ibuprofen and Flurbiprofen countered some of IL-1β's harmful effects.

What this does not proveResults are based on in vitro studies and do not establish clinical efficacy in human MS.
