P100 Latency Prolongation and Amplitude Reduction in Patients with RRMS

In a study of 83 patients with relapsing-remitting MS over two years, 43.4% developed prolonged P100 latency, linked to a higher relapse rate (OR 2.91, p = 0.005). Additionally, 56.6% showed reduced amplitude, associated with greater disability, but these findings were not robust after multiple comparisons and adjustments.

What this does not proveThe rarity of defined PIRA events limited inferential conclusions, and the study needs further prospective validation to confirm findings.
